SANDBLASTING
The main purpose of metal sandblasting is to remove corrosion products, mill scale, carbon deposits, molding residue on castings, old coatings and various contaminants, as well as to give a characteristic roughness to improve adhesion (adhesion of the substrate with protective coatings).
Metal sandblasting is performed using specialized equipment.
There are two main methods of blasting: manual and automatic.
In manual blasting, the operator conducts the process by selecting areas to be blasted and skipping undamaged areas of the metal.
This method is usually more economical. Automatic cleaning is used when large quantities of metal products need to be processed.
